Se tem uma música que está sempre presente no nosso set list quando tocamos em festas judaicas, essa é Locomotion! E é sucesso garantido nas pistas de danças de incontáveis bnei-mitzvot e casamentos! Então hoje vamos falar um pouquinho sobre a sua história!

Ela foi composta em 1962 por um casal, Gerry Goffin e Carole King – que eram marido e mulher e ainda judeus (será que um dia eles pensaram que sua música seria dançada em festas judaicas?), e posteriormente foi gravada por Little Eva, sendo hit nas rádios daquela época.

Nos anos 70, a música foi regravada por uma banda de rock que fez enorme sucesso, chamada "Grund Funk Railroad", e agregou outros seguidores à essa música que está na boca de todos até hoje!
